The Portrait Process
You’ll receive a style guide and tips to help her prepare. You’ll also have the option to access our curated studio wardrobe and accessories — bows, pearls, tulle, and more — all age-appropriate and designed to celebrate girlhood, not rush it.
Before the Session
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the difference. Your daughter will be greeted warmly and introduced to the experience with fun touches like her “Flavor of the Day”, a special mirror affirmation, and gentle styling guidance.
During the Session
You’ll return for a reveal and ordering appointment where you’ll select your favorite images. Each session includes a signature portrait for daily display at home — a constant reminder of her worth and beauty. Additional heirloom products, albums, and wall art are available — crafted with the same care as the experience itself.

I’m Whitney Stilwell — photographer, wife, mom of two girls and one busy boy, and the creator of Macaron Mouse.
For nearly two decades, I’ve helped women rediscover their confidence through my beauty studio, Red Stiletto. But after photographing thousands of women and hearing so many stories of self-doubt that began in childhood, I knew I wanted to reach girls sooner — before those doubts could take root.
That’s why I created Macaron Mouse: a portrait experience designed to help young girls feel seen, celebrated, and truly enough — just as they are.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with my husband and our three kids — Sloane, Shayne, and Sawyer — soaking up life’s little moments. Because to me, photography is about more than pictures — it’s about preserving the memories that matter most.
